My name is Spencer Smolen and I've been working in tech for 5 years now. Having first installed Linux over 20 years ago at the age 10 I've had a variety of rich experiences with the operating system ranging from dabbling in IoT, enterprise system administration, web development and a range of other Linux related endeavors.

I've developed a neverend fasncination with all things shell and command line including shell scripting in all POSIX compliant shells as well as many others including PowerShell as well as developing a pseudo-shell in the project provii.

Recently, I've been extremely interested in automation and devops tooling and techniques including but not limited to Ansible, GitLab, Cloudformation, Terraform and Hashicorp's Packer.
